Reservations & hours
Do you take reservations?
Yes. Use our online form and check the booking status shown after submitting. A request marked pending is not yet confirmed. You can also book by WhatsApp or phone.
What are your opening hours?
Daily · 18:00 – 00:00. We’re an evening restaurant at Calahonda. Kitchen and last order can shift a little by season or day — your booking confirmation is the exact note for that night.
Do you serve lunch?
No lunch sitting is published here. Doors open from 18:00 for dinner on the terrace.
Can I walk in without a booking?
We’ll seat you if a table is free. Weekends and sunset fill up — a reservation is the sure way, especially for four or more.

Where is salú Calahonda?
Centro Comercial El Zoco, C. de Los Adarves, 1 — Main Entrance, 2nd Floor, Terrace. Urb. Sitio de Calahonda, 29649 Mijas / Calahonda.
How do I find you inside El Zoco?
Use the main entrance near Supermercado El Jamón. The lift is on the right. Go to the second floor, locales 99–100. Call or WhatsApp us if you need directions.
Is there parking?
El Zoco sits by public parking and access roads. Spaces fill on busy evenings. If you want the easiest approach for your night, call and we’ll point you.
Is the terrace accessible with a stroller or wheelchair?
Families and guests with mobility needs are welcome. Access at El Zoco depends on which entrance you use — call ahead and we’ll set a table and a route that’s easy to reach.
Are dogs allowed?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the terrace. Tell us when you book so we can seat you where it’s comfortable for you and for the next table.
Is this the same restaurant as salú in Benalmádena?
This page is the Calahonda terrace at El Zoco. Benalmádena Pueblo is a sister house — different address. Instagram for this terrace is @salu.italian.
Food & families
Do you cater for allergies and vegetarians?
Vegetarian plates are on the menu — pizza, salads, sides. For allergies or intolerances, tell us when you book or order and the team will steer you. We don’t publish a separate allergen chart yet.
Can we come with children?
Yes. SALU Italia has a kids’ area, a children’s menu and a large terrace for family dinners.
Where can I see the menu?
The live menu is on this site, with a PDF if you want it on your phone before you arrive.
Is the kitchen Italian or grill?
SALU Italia serves Italian starters, pasta, risotto and pizza, alongside grilled meat, fish and seafood. There is also a children’s menu, wine and cocktails.
Groups & events
Can you host birthdays or group dinners?
Yes. For a regular table, book as usual. From about 8 guests, tell us the date and headcount — we hold a terrace pocket and time the kitchen. Birthdays and private evenings have their own page.
Do you offer catering away from the restaurant?
Yes — that’s a separate service from a table on the terrace. Ask for a quote on the catering page or WhatsApp.
Is there a kids’ area, and can we arrange a DJ?
The restaurant has a kids’ area. For a celebration, contact our events team to discuss music, a DJ and your group’s needs. Event arrangements and prices are agreed separately.
